Water and buffer served as further controls. (B,C) Luciferase reporter gene assays were performed in 33B (B) or Neuro2a (C) cells. Cells were co-transfected with the Mbp-luciferase plasmid in wild-type (wt) or mutant (ΔSite1-3) version and with expression plasmids for Sox2 and Sox10 as indicated beneath.
