Interactions between the Trxh1SS and the reduced and oxidized forms of PrxQ. (A) Reduced or oxidized PrxQ (5μM) was injected onto the Trxh1SS immobilized on a sensor chip and SPR signals were recorded. (B) The oxidized form of PrxQ (2μM) was injected onto Trxh1SS immobilized on a CM5 sensor chip before (gray line) and after (black line) thiol alkylation. Thiol alkylation was accomplished by injecting 10 mM NEM for 10 min onto the sensor chip.
