The activity of caspase-3/7 was determined with the CellEvent™ caspase-3/7 Green Detection Reagent (Invitrogen) according to the manufacturer's instructions. Four hrs after NEAPP-AM treatment, NOS2 (A) and NOS2TR (B) were observed by microscopy and fluorescence microscopy. Morphological changes were evaluated under a microscope. There were shrinkage and blebbing cells treated with NEAPP-AM, indicating apoptosis induction. The scale bar corresponds to 100 µm.
