Previously published in vitro human skin absorption data¹² has been recast as a function of the dimensionless dermal number N_derm, which quantifies the ratio of applied load and dermal absorption. Data demonstrate that % absorption diminishes with increasing load. Absorption does not include the skin depot amount.
