Figure 3

Average parameter estimates for the unequal-variance, mixture, and dual-process model in Experiments 1–4. The control condition refers to the parameter estimates for the self-paced group (Experiment 1, squares), the full attention condition (Experiment 2, circles), the same context items (Experiment 3, triangles), and the immediate test (Experiment 4, diamonds). The treatment condition refers to the parameter estimates for the speeded group, the divided attention condition, the different context items, and the 24-hr delayed test for Experiments 1–4, respectively. An * next to the experiment label indicates that the difference between the control and treatment conditions were significantly different at p < .05. Note that the Ro and Fd estimates for the self-paced data were initially reported in Koen & Yonelinas (2011).
