Plasma-TG level (A) was higher in diabetic compared to control subjects at 6 and 8 h but not significantly different, whereas VLDL-TG concentration (B) and iAUC was greater in diabetic subjects (P<0.05), indicating postprandial lipemia. Arrows and “meal” on the figure indicate when a meal was fed at breakfast (time 0) and lunch (time 4 h).
