One sample t-tests compared mean HbO responses, averaged over 10 to 30 s for pretest trials and 6 to 20 s for test trials, to zero at channels 2, 4, 5, and 9. Asterisks indicate M (SD) HbO responses that differed significantly from baseline (* p < .05, ** p < .01, and *** p < .001, one-tailed). Between groups comparisons using independent samples t-tests (two-tailed), were also performed for channels 2, 4, 5, and 9.
