(A) A549 cells mock-treated (‘−siRNA’) or pretreated with FUS siRNA (‘+siRNA’) were microirradiated, fixed 2 min later and immunostained for endogenous FUS with anti-FUS antibody (top two panels). A western blot confirming siRNA-mediated knockdown is shown (right). The dotted box in the ‘+siRNA’ samples denotes the position of the UVA laser track.
