Cells were incubated with 1 µg of [3H]DNA alone, pHK10/[3H]DNA polyplexes, or pHK15/[3H]DNA polyplexes for 4 h under serum-free conditions. The amount of internalized DNA as a function of total DNA (% [3H]DNA internalized) was determined. (B) Transfection of HSPG normal (CHO-K1) and deficient (CHO-pgs-A745) cells.
