CD8⁺ T cell responses are not altered by VLP-exposure. Mice were exposed to VLPs or vehicle i.n, rested for 72 h, and then challenged with 1.5×10³ pfu PR8. Total MHC I influenza NP and PA tetramer⁺CD8⁺ T cells were quantified from microdissected iBALT (A), and TBLNs (B) over 9 days of infection. Lymphocytes were gated by forward and side scatter plots. CD8⁺Tetramer⁺ T cells were then quantified. Each experiment was independently repeated at least twice with n=5 per group. A t-test was utilized to determine statistical significance at each timepoint. *p<0.05, **p<0.01.
