The triangles and rectangles represent PEG_2k-PLA_2k and the copolymers with two different monomers in the hydrophobic block, respectively. The hydrophobic ratio was defined as M_{n,hydrophobic}/M_{n,hydrophilic} and M_{n,hydrophilic} was held constant at 2000 (values obtained from ¹H NMR). The melting enthalpies observed for PEG-PεDL copolymers arise only from the PEG block while for the semicrystalline copolymers, the reported enthalpy is the combined melting enthalpy of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic block.
