Downward deflections at Vhold=−50 mV are spontaneous glutamatergic synaptic currents. C. Autocorrelogram of PGA shown in (B). D. At −80 mV this neuron displayed small-amplitude PGA that was blocked after addition of BIC. The remaining events were glutamatergic as they were completely blocked by application of non-NMDA (CNQX) and NMDA (APV) receptor antagonists.
