S1–S8 denote synaesthetes. The first three questions required Yes/No responses. A diamond represents a Yes response. Note that S6 and S8 fit the “projector” description. To the other questions, participants responded on a 5-point scale (—) = strongly disagree, (–) = disagree, () = neither agree nor disagree, (+) = agree, (++) = strongly agree.
