IL-1β protein production by THP-1 cells treated with Stx1, LPS, and Stx1 plus LPS. Cell-free supernatants from LPS-treated (a), Stx1-treated (b), and Stx1-plus-LPS-treated (c) cells were collected and analyzed using human IL-1β-specific ELISAs.
