Mean (± SEM) pain-free (left panel) and maximum walking distance (right panel) during treatment with sulodexide (n = 141) or placebo (n = 143) in patients with peripheral arterial obstructive disease (P = 0.001 in both comparisons). Also, considering the total increase (in meters), a statistically significant difference was reached for both pain-free walking distance and maximum walking distance (P = 0.001 for both comparisons).
