The ProYUCCA1:GUS staining pattern was similar to that of DR5:GUS, i.e., mostly in young meristematic regions, as indicated by black arrowheads. The signal in corresponding tissues of adp1-D (indicated by black arrowheads) was reduced markedly. Bar = 0.5 mm. (I) to (S) Relative expression levels of all the YUCCA genes in wild-type and adp1-D. Axillary buds of adult plant (3 days after bolting) were collected as samples, and Elongation factor-1α was used as internal control.
