MSMS fragmentation patterns (A–E) were compared against authentic standards. All spectra were acquired in positive mode (ESI+) with the exception of phenylacetylglycine (C), which was acquired in negative mode (ESI−). Retention time and mass of the parent compound are indicated for each sample and standard comparison.
