Expression levels of transduction proteins in wild type and Grb14−/− animals. A–H, 10 μg of two independent retinal proteins was subjected to immunoblot analysis with antibodies against Grb14 (A), CNGA1 (B), RGS9-1 (C), Gβ5L (also detects short form Gβ5S) and Gβ5S (D), R9AP (E), PDE6β (F), PDEγ (G), and actin (H). I, densitometric analysis of four independent immunoblots was performed in the linear range of detection, and absolute values were then normalized to actin. Values are mean ± S.E., (n = 4). The wild type was set as 100%. Student's t test was used to show that there were no significant differences in the expression level of transduction proteins between wild type and Grb14−/− animals.
