The CC1 subdomain is required for binding of TACC3 to chTOG in vivo. HEK293 cells were transfected with expression constructs for TACC3 or the indicated C-terminal deletion mutants all C-terminally fused to GFP. After 48 h, total cell lysates were prepared and subjected to co-immunoprecipitation analysis using a GFP-specific antibody followed by SDS-PAGE analysis and detection of chTOG in the immunoprecipitates. mAu, milliabsorbance units; IP, immunoprecipitation.
