Spectral estimators in (a) and (b) are: (i) Short-time Fourier transform with rectangular taper (REC), (ii) short-time Fourier transform with Hann taper (HAN), (iii) Welch's method (WEL), (iv) Thomson's multitaper method (MTM). Estimates were averaged across 20 frames.
