Growth kinetics of CRF07_BC and subtype B in PBMCs. PBMCs were infected with equal amounts of CRF07_BC, CRF07_BC+p6, and two subtype B viruses, HXB2RU3 (CXCR4-tropism) and CI (CCR5 tropism). The culture supernatants were harvested at days 3, 5, 7, 10 and 14, and the virus titers in the supernatants were determined by real-time PCR with the condition described previously.²¹ The values represent the mean of three independent experiments and the error bars represent the standard deviation.
