Tips and Tricks |
1. Debride the fracture bed to remove obstructions to fracture reduction. |
2. Attempt a trial reduction with a probe before fixation. |
3. Use a spinal needle to determine the appropriate position of the accessory high portals to access the fracture bed. |
4. Use percutaneous retraction sutures around the transverse meniscal ligament to improve visualization and allow fracture reduction. |
5. Place anchors at an angle to avoid physis in pediatric patients. |
