MgSO4 decreases cytokine production induced by other TLR ligands. CBMCs in the presence (Mg Sup) or absence (CTRL) of MgSO4 supplementation were stimulated with (A) 1 ng/ml MALP-2 or (B) 1 μg/ml poly(I:C) and cytokine production was assessed via ICS.
