Test for acquisition and retention of spatial memory of mice after total body irradiation (TBI). Mice were exposed to TBI at a dose of 100 mGy, and a behavioral test with the Morris water maze was performed in the animals at postnatal ages of one year (A, B) and two years (C, D). No differences were found for either acquisition or retention of spatial memory in irradiated animals at these two time-points compared with those of the unirradiated control.
