For AY9944 treatment Neuro2a cells were plated at 5 × 10⁴/cm² in DMEM with 10% FBS. The following day medium was replaced with serum-free medium (DMEM plus N2 supplement) with different AY9944 concentrations (1 nM, 10 nM, and 50 nM) for 48 h.
