A 7.3 Mb-deletion on the p-arm of chromosome 9, del(9)(p24.3p24.1) (a) and a 34.3 Mb-duplication on the q-arm of chromosome 18, dup(18)(q12.3q23) (b) are shown. Both aberrations result from an unbalanced translocation involving chromosomes 9 and 18 (c).
