Aging aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR)-KO mice have abnormal changes in peripheral blood cell numbers. Blood was drawn from the retro-orbital plexus of wild type (WT) and AhR-KO mice and analyzed for total red (A) and white (B) blood cell counts. Blood film slides were stained with Wright-Giemsa stain for differential counting of WBC (C–E). Data are shown for 3-, 12-, and 24-month old mice.
