T- (ICaT) and L- (ICaL) type Ca2+ currents in neonatal mouse ventricular myocytes (NMVMs) 1 and 7 days after birth. (A) On day 1, ICaT was detected in 35% of WT myocytes, and (B) in only 4% of α1G−/− NMVMs. On day 7, no ICaT was detected in WT (C) or (D) α1G−/− myocytes. ICaL was not different in either group at either 1 or 7 days after birth (N: # of cells).
