Plot of the fraction f of tripped lines versus the relative strength of fluctuations σ. Comparing with the case of increasing load in synthetic of fig. 2, we see that randomness smoothens the transition; yet, the transition becomes steeper with size, indicating the possibility of a firts order transition in the limit of large networks. Results are averaged over 10 networks and over 10 realizations of the noise for each network. Error bars are of the order of the size of the symbols.
