PSF overexpression affects exon 10 splicing. A tau exon 10–11 minigene plasmid was co-transfected along with vector control (lane 1) or PSF (lane 2) overexpression plasmids into HEK293 cells, cDNA extracted 48 h post-transfection and levels of mRNA analyzed by PCR with levels of GAPDH used as internal control.
