ROI-based analysis of correlations. Significant correlations between RSFC and reading competence were observed in each age group (Z > 2.3, *p < 0.05). The correlation in the black square survived Bonferroni correction for multiple comparisons. The bottom and top triangles represent RSFC–behavior relationships in the child and adult groups, respectively. Only RSFC between the fusiform gyrus (2. FFG) and inferior frontal gyrus opercularis (6. IFGop) seeds showed a significant age-group difference in relationships between RSFC and reading competence.
