C57BL/6 mice were given noggin (N, 0.5 mg/kg) or PBS intraperitoneally at 1 hour before, 2, 4, and 6 hours after the first CR injection. AP was induced by 9 hourly CR injections (50 µg/kg). The mouse blood samples and the pancreas were harvested at 1 hour after the completion of CR injections. A. Representative pancreatic images of H&E stained sections from CR and N+CR groups. B. Total histological scores (comprises edema, inflammation, acinar necrosis, and vacuole formation) and vacuole formation are presented. C. Serum amylase levels. D. Serum IL-6 levels.
