Knockdown of NCoR increases tumor formation properties in collagen gel. Tumor formation properties upon NCoR knockdown monitored in 3-dimensional collagen gel culture. Anchorage-independent growing tumor cells from control and NCoR knockdown cells collected at 48 hours after siRNA introduction were counted, and equal number of cells from each condition were plated after resuspension in a collagen matrix. Tumor formations were stained with actin and DAPI and visualized and quantified in an inverted microscope. Quantification included 4 biological replicates.
