BALB/c or γ^−/− mice were immunized i.m. with Ad-M PyMSP1₄₂ and challenged as in Fig. 6. Fourteen days postsecond challenge, anti-PyPEMS ADRB activity was assessed in mouse serum preincubated with PBS (no depletion; black) or depleted of PyMSP1₁₉ (gray)- or PyMSP1₃₃ (white)-specific antibodies. Checkered bars (+, positive reference serum) represent background ADRB activity of depleted sera without any antigen coated onto the plate. Results with naive BALB/c mouse serum are also shown.
