Elevated PC(O-16:0/2:0) levels result in an increase in LCB(P) and ceramide species (I) which is associated with an altered localization of Mss4 and PtdIns (4,5)P2 (II) resulting in relocalization of Slm1, and presumably Slm2, from eisosomes to the PES (III) and a loss in TORC2-dependent Ypk1 phosphorylation without disrupting complex integrity (IV). Further work will be needed to determine if TORC2 components and/or Ypk1 are similarly recruited to the PES.
