Mice were pre-treated with vehicle or methanolic extract of Grewia asiatica or aqueous extract of Grewia asiatica (200 and 400 mg/kg, orally) or indomethacin (10 mg/kg, orally) 1 h prior to acetic acid injection. The number of stretching's occurred immediately within 30 min after the acetic acid injection was recorded. The results are represented as % inhibition of stretching movement.
