Recombinant adenoviruses expressing TRF1 or LacZ were infected into HeLa cells. The cells were pulse-labeled with BrdU and harvested at various intervals after infection as indicated. The cells were stained with PI and BrdU and DNA content was analyzed by FACScan. The data were used for calculating G1, S and G2/M cell fractions. Minus, cells without infection; LacZ, LacZ-overexpressing cells; and TRF1, TRF1-overexpressing cells. 24 h, 36 h and 48 h indicate the time point of cell harvest after the infection of the adenoviruses.
