Mouse antiserum samples induced by the P1-KLH/P2-KLH conjugate were tested by ELISA for their ability to bind to the P1/P2 peptide in the presence of dilutions of short peptide homologs to the P1 (A) and P2 (C) peptides. Human serum samples positive for HBoVs were tested by ELISA for their ability to bind to the P1/P2 peptide in the presence of dilutions of short peptide homologs to the P1 (B) and P2 (D) peptides.
