Data are presented in mean ±s.d. BMI: body mass index; FPG: fasting plasma glucose; CAD: coronary artery disease; T2DM: type 2 diabetes. The fasting plasma glucose values were after intervention. Independent t test was used to evaluate age and BMI; Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the difference of T2DM duration and FBG between the two groups.
