Synchronous amplitude-stable PO2 oscillations (5–50 kPa [37–375 mmHg]), recorded 5 h after both sensors were immersed in flowing blood at 39 °C, are shown as a function of time. Colour coding, sampling rate, and duty cycle are the same as in Fig. 1. The PMMA sensor is seen to detect most of the PO2 oscillation amplitude at each RR.
