A. Scheme of the PTBP1 binding model. The two-state HMM model was trained on PTBP1 bound RNA sequences (48,604 clusters) from published PTBP1-CLIP experiments. Triplets from these CLIP clusters were predictive of two states, with all of the pyrimidine triplets preferred by State 1. The diagram presents the structure of the PTBP1 HMM (Hidden Markov Model) and its trained transition probabilities. B.
