The temporal profile of five phasic functions Φτ, k(x) with τ = 50 ms and k ranging from 0 to 1 is displayed. If k = 0, the phasifunction is a simple leaky integrator with time constant τ. If k = 1, the output of the filter is a localized bump peaking at t = τ and converging toward 0.
