Effects of PHD inhibitors on rosiglitazone-induced adipocyte differentiation. C3H10T1/2 cells were treated with either DMOG (1 mm) or EDHB (100 μm) in the presence or absence of rosiglitazone (10 μm) for 10 days (the medium was changed every 48 h). The extent of adipocyte differentiation was monitored by Oil Red O staining (A and C), and the mRNA levels of each gene were determined by RT-PCR (B and D).
