Dose-dependent clearance of P. berghei ANKA by the compounds quinine (QN), HEAQ, quinidine (QND), HEQD, and HEAQD, alone at either 20 mg/kg or 80 mg/kg and in combination with artesunate (AS) (10 mg/kg), in C57BL/6 mice. Percent parasitemia was calculated as the percentage of infected RBCs out of 500 RBCs for ≥1% parasitemia and out of 10,000 for <1% parasitemia.
