Whole cell extracts were prepared from wild type and hog1Δmutants treated with protein synthesis inhibitor cycloheximide (CHX) to stop new protein synthesis, followed by 1 M sorbitol for the indicated time, resolved by 8% SDS-PAGE, and probed with anti-SUMO antibodies.
