Mitochondrial complex I activity after T-H and RSV treatment. Complex I activity was measured in the left ventricular tissues of sham-treated or T-H–treated animals administered resveratrol (RSV) or sirtinol (Stnl) and RSV. The complex I activity was determined as described in Materials and Methods. The enzyme activities as indicated by optical density were normalized to sham values, and significance was calculated by unpaired t test with the Welch correction.
