Long Evans rats were patched and prepared as previously described [29,81]. Calcium channel modulators were administered 30 min prior to manganese injection, as in [81]. Non-LTCC antagonist had no effect on retina manganese uptake (data in [38]). Bold black lines indicate a significant (p < 0.05) difference from vehicle control values.
