Plasma membrane-bound epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and autophagy signaling network. Following ligand binding, EGFR is activated via phosphorylation. Phosphorylated EGFR subsequently activates the intrinsic tyrosine kinase activity of the receptor and triggers downstream signaling cascades.
