Treatment with 15d-PGJ2 inhibited the proliferation of Caki-2 cells, but treatment with VP-16 alone did not affect cell viability. The cells were assayed for viability using the MTT assay after treatment for 24 h with increasing doses of (A) 15d-PGJ2 (0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 μM) and (B) VP-16 (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 μM). **P<0.01 vs. control cells.
