(A) Stimulus: periodic whisker deflection, (B) 17 trials of training data, (C) 33 trials of test data. The standard raster plots show that the stimulus induces strong modulation of the neural spiking in both the training and in the test sets. These standard raster plots do not clearly show the effect of the stimulus on joint spiking.
